Cleanse Homework Day 4
Detox Your Kitchen
Lifestyle
Juices, Drinks & Broth
- Are you getting sick of juice? Try more broth!
- Sick of broth? Try more flax/chia drinks.
- Are you feeling chilly? Try that coconut tea.
Breathing & Movement
- Try to get outside today, even if it’s just for 10 minutes walking around the block
- Can you walk up some stairs at home or work?
- Sit down and take 10 deep breaths, inhaling to a 6 count and exhaling to a 12 count
Planning & Prepping
- Open your kitchen cupboards, take those highly processed foods and just toss them in the garbage.
- Take your highly refined vegetable oils and toss them too.
- Make a list of the simple things you can do to top grade and upgrade your kitchen, so your ingredients and cooking apparatus are more supportive of your health.
Hello there!! I’ve just finished the detox and feeling great!! Now I’m taking care of my body like never felt I could do it.
Even though loosing weight was not the goal of the program, I lost about 7 pounds.
Thank you all for the great support!!!
Hi Lorena,
So happy to hear. Keep up the great work.
Jon
I have done juice cleanses before but what had made this so different and almost easy was the precleanse. What a great segue! Other than one day of massive detox headache, I have felt great. And I am now a big fan of blending coconut oil in with my morning tea. Yum! It’s so warm and comforting.
Also, the webinars are very informative and supportive. I love the info on alternative ways to prep food without wheat.
Question. Where do I find your yoga videos?
Thanks for everything.

Went & checked deeper into the dried tofu curd sticks that I have used as wonderfully chewy almost meat-like food a couple of times a month. They are found in “downhome” Asian markets. Realized there was some small print on the bag noting they were preserved with “metabisulfite food additive”. Threw them out. Even though I am so careful, these were recommended to me by an Asian friend, and although a byproduct of the fermenting process, I can’t put chemicals into my food. Sorry I brought up the question in the session tonight. I’d hate to think someone might choose to purchase this after all the work to detox our bodies.
All good Diane,
It’s almost impossible to escape chemicals in packaged food. It’s best to just pick and choose your battles and eat real foods whenever you can.
