Food, to me, is so much more than just fuel. Food is pleasure, food is fun, food is creativity and making nutritious, delicious food for friends and family is an expression of love.
Both of my parents make delicious food, and instilled in me a passion for cooking and baking early on. It wasn’t until 2008, as the mother of a baby and a toddler, that I discovered my passion for nutrition. The responsibility of deciding what to feed my kids propelled me to read dozens of books on nutrition and diet. I believe that cooking and eating healthy is easy and delicious. I share my passion on my blog packed with free healthy recipes.
In the Spaghetti Recipe she says that it has the Big 3. Is the Olive oil the omega 3 oil? Is that enough omega 3 oil for a meal?
Can I have some vegan recipes that follow the method, please? I love the whole philosophy but the recipes can be a challenge for me. I don’t live on hemp seeds for protein. Thanks
Margaret
Is there a place I can find the recipe for the pizza crust made with psyllium husks and egg yolks? I am on the 30 day free trial and believe I only have access to the Support Group. Still trying to navigate my way around. Thanks for your help. Kathy Martin
Hi Kathi,
I am not sure where that recipe is from – but here in the Support Group is Jon’s recent recipe for a pizza crust made from cauliflower! Here is the link:

You can find this (and other) recipes under the Videos Tab at the top of this page. There is also a Recipe Tab – where more recipes are kept.
I hope this helps.

I thought we were advised to cook with ghee or coconut oil, not olive oil? Apart from that, love the recipes. Thank you
Hi Hilary,
That is correct, Jon prefers to use coconut oil or ghee for cooking as these have a higher smoking point which prevents the healthy fats from being destroyed.
Kind regards
Den
Thanks Den, that’s quite confusing then as these are recipes for the Gabriel Method? Are there other aspects that he wouldn’t prefer like the honey? I had presumed that as you had published them they would be “Jon approved?”
Hi Hilary,
I understand. While Jon prefers these things it does not have to be an exact science. If there is a recipe that just tastes better using Olive oil then it is okay to use olive oil, but with the knowledge that you will not be getting the full health benefit of the oil if you use it in this way. You could add a healthy oil in a salad dressing for a salad that goes with one of the dishes instead.
I hope this helps.
Den
Yes it does help. Thank you
loved them all, thanks so much for sharing xoxo
Hi Patricia,
Glad you enjoyed these.
Den 🙂
I was surprised to see honey in the recipe as Jon usually doesn’t recommend honey.
