Because of my improved health and stamina, I went to London two years ago and had a great time. I am returning to London in September for a three week genealogy research trip. This is something I would have never been able to do pre-Gabriel.
In my lifetime, I have lost huge amounts of weight only to put it right back on. I even lost 140 pounds in 1991 and gained it all back in 1992.

I ‘knew’ that it was common for metabolism to slow down in postmenopausal women and had unconsciously accepted this as indisputable fact, believing that weight gain was inevitable.
When I heard about how the Gabriel Method worked, it immediately resonated with me, because I am convinced that our brains and mindpower are currently grossly undervalued. When I read about visualizing for weight loss, I knew I had hit the jackpot.
The idea of losing weight without effort, without strenuous exercise, by adding nutrients rather than focussing on denial, held huge appeal. So after reading the book I started listening to the Evening Visualization at bedtime. My husband George was automatically subjected to listening as well. After he lost 9kg (20 lbs) and was looking very trim and youthful, his doctor told him he shouldn’t lose any more weight. As I had more weight to shed than he, I now have the visualization on my ipod and still enjoy listening to it, as I feel it helps promote better sleep as well as addressing issues around weight.
We were travelling around Australia and this free and easy lifestyle made it easier to change our eating habits. I listened to my first visualization in May, in Gympie, north of Brisbane and by the time we reached Darwin, 4 and a half months later, I decided to weigh myself for the first time. Initially, I was a little disappointed that I had only shed 7 1/2 kg (16.5 lbs), until my husband pointed out that this equated to 7 1/2 of the large tubs of the yoghurt we enjoy for breakfast. On making it back to Brisbane by Christmas, 7 1/2 months later, I had to buy some more clothes as I was down to a size 10 from a size 16.
The big omission in my nutrition studies was that I didn’t know that your body triggers the hunger response specifically for nutrients and that if you provide it the nutrients early in the day you won’t be hungry later. I’m not actually hungry in the evenings now, it is just habit and for camaraderie to serve up something to nibble. I don’t believe fruit is the enemy; enjoying fresh fruit for breakfast satisfies sweet cravings.
For 6 months this process had cost me nothing since the purchase of the book, which I actually found at a neighbour’s garage sale, but I then joined the Support Group and have reaped many benefits from this. Once you lose some weight, introducing exercise becomes a pleasure. I laugh joyfully during the 4 minutes of Tabata exercise Support Group Fitness Coach Brian has introduced us to, and my doctor was pleased that I was doing his hip exercises. On our travels we enjoyed many scenic walks, and flexibility exercises in the morning are no longer a chore. Having access to the SG visualization archives is wonderful, and I see that so many of them can benefit people I know. As well as helping myself, I have been able to help others and I love to tell people about the Gabriel Method for losing weight.
It was obvious to our friends when we returned that we had lost a significant amount of weight. I had lost 12 1/2 kilos (28 lbs) and my husband 9. We feel great and people tell us we look great too. Although I have more weight to release before achieving the body in my photo (when I was 28), I know it will continue to drop off without any effort or worry on my part.

I have been telling anyone who will listen. And I have not yet lost a pound, but I was able to see how stressful my life had become, and how badly I have damaged myself from dieting for 40 years….and I am only 52. I am a 51 year young woman and have been overweight since my university years. Really obese since 1999. My session with Brian Killian was just what I needed. I was a little overwhelmed with the food choices, especially how to incorporate the big 3 into meals and snacks, when I would have normally just eaten just veggies and fruit. Talking to Brian was amazing, he helped me work out that I wasn’t eating enough protein, so I could immediately work with that. I felt very connected and he gave me plenty of suggestions and made sense. He suggested the genetically thin visualisation and it is amazing, as the ‘ideal me’ steps into my cells I tingle in delight!!
I was a little anxious going into the weekend as we had a very heavy social agenda of two restaurant meals (including a degustation!!) and a dinner party lunch. Normally after a weekend like this I would have added two kilos. This morning I weighed the exact same as I weighed on Friday morning. Amazing! Here are some of my photos, the first one is from 10/10/08 and the second one is from 3 months later, 1/13/09.
In that time I have taken around 8 inches off my waistline and dropped from 265 lbs. to 225 lbs. It’s as if weight loss is only a small, but such a crucial part of my transformation. I am really feeling so different. Like never before.

I have been doing the method since last year but I truly worked out what it was all about 2 months ago. I now feel as though the FAT switch has really turned. I am a London cab driver, so I go long hours without exercise. I have lost 10kg in 2 months with absolutely no exercise!
I started The Gabriel Method in April of 2008 when I weighed about 280 lbs (127 kgs). Since then I’ve lost 50 kgs and I feel great!
I think The Gabriel Method simply reminded my body that it should be youthful at age 16. When I look at photos of the ‘old me’ I can hardly recognize myself. If I were to go back in time right now, I’d think I had a long-lost older brother with a bad ass pony tail!

Last May 2009, I was diagnosed with Insulin Resistance Syndrome and was requiring 500 to 700 units of insulin a day. I was instructed by my doctors to go on an insulin pump. Last December I read your book in great relief because; finally someone who has actually lost weight through a permanent life style change had written a book on exactly how they accomplished such a monumental task.
Since December 2009 I have lost 60 lbs (27 kgs). I am also now only requiring about 30 units of insulin a day. My doctors look at my A1C records and tell me it borders on miraculous, I have you to thank for my life style change.

I’m losing weight and it’s improving every area of my life. I look better, feel better and my relationship with food has completely changed. I’m on track to a new beginning, had about 30 pounds to lose to get back to a lean body. Nothing has worked till now. It’s been easy, effective and it’s also having an effect on my alcohol consumption. I just don’t crave it like I used to.
Though I still enjoy good wine, I just don’t drink as much because my body doesn’t want it and I don’t feel the need for the stimulation. This is having an effect on my weight too and it’s being done totally naturally. I give my body what it wants and if it doesn’t crave something I don’t give it that and it’s an amazing transformation I’m going through. I don’t crave the same foods I used to and when I eat, whatever it is, I have a spot inside that becomes full before my stomach really feels it and I can stop eating, take a break even, and I’ve never been like that. This is easy and I feel fantastic. I love to walk and have done so for a long time, I’m really enjoying that even more now as I listen to the audio’s in this package (do wish I had more audio though as I’ve listened and listened over and over to what I have). The pounds are not coming off “fast”, they’re coming off slowly but very naturally and easily. I’m really starting to look different, leaner, and I’m keeping off the scale for a few more weeks. It doesn’t matter what the scale says, I look better and know I will continue to look better and better because I’m not dieting, not fighting in a battle to limit food intake and I can tell my body is “working right”, like lean people I now. My fat programs are turned off. The difference in the way I feel is SO AMAZING.

Just wanted to give a shout out…this is WORKING! I know many of you already know that, but for any newbies like me….keep going! I decided to see what week one results were knowing that I had a few foods that I knew weren’t the most healthy, but exercised the walk then sprint for 10-15 min three times last week. I am down 4 pounds and have lost 2.5 inches overall! Shut up! 🙂 What is more amazing is how my thinking is changing. Literally, when I eat, I am thinking where is the protein the Omegas and the live food? Something else has also shifted…I actually want to move my body! I was at a football game last night for my daughter who was cheering…and I thought Wouldn’t it be fun to run on that track?!!! Lol! The visualizations daily (2-3x) are working wonders! Keep going everyone…this is going to be a fun journey!! I am excited!

I joined this effort about 2 weeks ago and am happy to report I have lost 4 pounds as of this morning! Yay me!! 🙂 This is the first time in about 1 1/2 years that I have made an effort to focus on losing weight and actually lost a few pounds. Visualizations have really helped me stay focused, even on an incredibly stressful work day, like yesterday when my company had multiple lay-offs. Thankfully I’m still here. I want to share a big ah-hah moment I experienced during one of the morning visualizations (Loving my body). I realized that all my life I’ve had a very adversarial relationship with my body. It was something to beat down, overcome, fight against, punish with too much food, and ignore etc. But after just one listen to the visualization, I get it now (supported by learnings in Jon’s first book). I am loving my body, treating it with respect in regard to food and exercise. I feel great! I am loved, I am strong and focused and awesome!

Hi everyone, I do my evening visualisations for about a week now, I feel difference already (yeey!) more relaxed, and for the first time in many, many…. many years, it really feels like I really am going to be thin/healthy. I was already on the right food path (after many many years of searching, which stressed me out a lot by the way) I really feel this is the missing link. I do have a question though, after about 15 minutes my legs get restless. I keep staying relaxed, but I think the visualization of myself running on the Beach, all thin and happy makes me want to dance for joy 😄 Is this ok? Will this get different? Thanks, Angelique

I am about two months in following the Gabriel Method, and I have noticed something interesting. I think I have only lost a few pounds, but I have started to look different to myself. I look a little thinner and more toned. In listening to GM testimonials, I have heard people say a couple of times that they began to look differently and that their body shape shifted positively even when they hadn’t really lost weight. I think this is so interesting. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, I was wondering what you thought about it. I mean, I am wondering why exactly this happens. It’s a pretty cool phenomenon, in my opinion. I am still continually grateful for GM. I would like to lose more weight, but even if I don’t, the shift in my mental attitude towards greater peace and confidence is a profound relief.

I just had some encouraging news from the doctor. My blood pressure has never been in the danger zone, but it has been on the high end of the “normal” range for a couple of years, and I’ve been a little worried. I’ve started meditating again, at least once a day and twice on many days. I’ve also upped my visualizations, adding them to the end of my meditations. At the doctor today, my blood pressure was 114/68. The technician asked the doctor to test it again, (I wanted her to retest it as well because it was so low). When the doctor tested it again it was 118/72. I’m really, really excited about this. I know it’s the meditation and visualizations.

it’s really amazing. I am just new into this for two weeks now and every night when I am on my bed and ready to sleep I listen the evening meditation (sorry Jon, I always fall asleep after the first minutes) I sleep like a baby, not waking up in the night anymore. I feel very fresh in the morning, full of energy, not tired, even sometimes when I don’t get more sleep than 4 hours. 🙂 I am soooo happy.

Lightbulb Moments 💡💡💡💡!!!!! I have just listened to two of the talks from the NYNY 2017 from Dr Rosedale and Donna Gates from Body Ecology and found them both very very interesting particularly the one from Donna Gates about gut bacteria and candida. This is not the first time I have listened to them but I heard something completely different today, perhaps I am just ready to listen and hear what they have to say and how it relates to me and make the changes. Jon Gabriel is the talk from Donna Gates available to the Support Group here as I think it would be a valuable link to just remind people of how some small changes can make a huge difference. It made all that you and the team have been teaching me make even more sense and i will now be taking my probiotics and digestive enzymes as a priority like I do the visualisations as I know truly understand the benefits !! 👍❤️Thank you as I am really starting to see that all that I have been learning over the last 15 months is really starting to make so much sense and the bits of the jigsaw are all starting to fit together….I just need to remind myself to be patient and also to acknowledge all of the positive changes that I have already made and how far I have come….feeling so grateful to everyone for their support XX

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share as I am feeling on top of the world. I am continuing to lose at least 1kg every week (~20kgs so far). I am feeling fabulous. I have so much gratitude for Jon Gabriel, this program, the coaches and I love my new lifestyle. For me the main focus – visualizations, the big 3 and learning to love, accept and forgive myself.
Please if ever you feel discouraged, know that you’re healing will come, just keep following these experts!
I haven’t posted in a looonnnggg time, lots going on… I’m so thankful for the resources in this group!! I’m excited to announce I have begun to drop the weight! 🙌🙌🙌❤❤❤ I weighed in at 275 at my yearly checkup on December 22 and this Monday I weighed in at 262! That’s 13lbs in a little over 2 weeks!! I believe this is because I spent the holidays cherishing moments instead of prioritizing food and because I started a basic cleanse from fast food and candy and all the junk I’d been stuffing in my face for years… AND the visualizations!!!!!!!! I have been listening pretty consistently since March, and I was beginning to get discouraged that I would never change… but I just kept at it and now that I’m trying to make the changes to my diet, my mind and body are so ready!! I’m actually starting to feel a desire to be more active too! I am pursuing my dreams and starting to feel truly free for the first time in my life! I have real hope! I’m so so so thankful for the Gabriel Method and for Jon Gabriel speaking truth and grace into my life! And all of the coaches here who do the same!! THANK YOU!! I know I still have a long journey ahead, but it’s EXCITING! I know I will face challenges, but I pray I can hold onto this hope and remember what is important. And if you’re struggling right now, DONT give up! Stick with it. Keep listening to the visualizations and really try to SEE yourself in your ideal body! Major Life Breakthrough – Best day ever! The knowledge in GM book and videos put me on the path of awareness and the visualizations are working miracles. Not only is the weight coming off easy but I have put to bed a past trauma and it has released me in so many ways. These issues are so much bigger than weight and I have been struggling with them for decades. I have changed and grown more in a month than in all that time – eventhough I was reading everything, and trying and trying to fix things. THANK YOU!
