    Hi,
This is a long shot. I’m hoping Coach Melinda will see this.
I listened to this today and came away with more than I thought possible. I tend to let my emotions take control when I’m afraid, angry, hurt, etc… I am so excited to use the rocking exercise the next time something comes up. I also needed a way to feel connected to my mom and the rocking will give me the chance to realize that she did truly love me unconditionally prior to my birth. There is so much more that I came away with and so ready to put them into practice. I’m ready to let go of so much of the past that I’ve just shoved down and buried. I’ve waited a very long time for this. Thank you and can’t wait to listen to more.

Thanks so much. Just hearing this has helped me so much today. I have been feeling so angry and fearful today especially, the universe sent me to hear this for a reason. I think I have just scratched the surface and am so relieved to be starting to heal myself this way.

Erin – every great journey started with one step. I’m so glad this information touched you and please let me know what you’d like me to cover to help you along the way! Bright blessings!

Holy cow! I have thought many times in the past couple weeks about the source of my anxiety. I have not always been an anxious person and was wondering if I could get rid of the anxiety altogether. Fortunately, I have learned to manage it with EFT, but I really want to eliminate it. Listening to this audio brought up some issues in my life I didn’t realize were still bothering me, and I think I found the source of my anxiety. I have hope 🙂

  4. Lisa Gober says:

    Melinda,
How do you go about bringing up emotions from past trauma? Or do the emotions just come up, like as I feel anxious, or depressed, does that include the past emotions?
    thank you,
    Lisa

    • Melinda Jacobs says:

Hi Lisa – I don’t worry about bringing them up. They body will do that naturally for me. And yes, as feelings come up, I ask myself, “does this feeling feel familiar?”, “when have I felt this in the past?”, or “what or when does this situation remind me of?” Unresolved issues are like magnets, they will attract people and situations to us so we can have yet one more opportunity for us to resolve the past issue. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I heard this class for the second time. I like the part where you sit with a part of yourself and weather the storm together. I m currently struggling with bike riding. A part of me really wants to get on it and go. The other part of me tells me its going to be hard.. really really hard and that I shouldnt do it.

    • Melinda Jacobs says:

Great awareness of your internal conflict. What can you say to the part that has the perception of ‘really really hard’? I often ask these parts things like “where did you get that idea?”, “who told you such a thing?”, “how does that serve you?” or you can offer to take her for a ride and say, “gee, I don’t know if it will be really, really hard. How about you and I go find out together? And if it is really, really hard, we will get off the bike and walk and maybe it won’t be so really, really hard, and then we can go farther than we ever imagined!”

This is the very first video I have listened to. WOW. Life changing.
Thank you SO much for your information Melinda!!
I just took my first class in Integrated Energy Healing which is a cellular release method. Clearly this is what I need as it keeps showing up! Ha!
I am living with an enormous amount of grief.
Do you have specific suggestions/strategies for grief?

  8. Ginger S. says:

“trying to cough up what the body no longer needs” I like that image and knowledge. I thought I was long over (worked thru in various therapy-energy work) old life traumas. The after going GM I started having dreams that brought some of them up. Floatsum memories really of different onestraumas – that I write down and go over in the morning. It’s good to know that’s normal. I’m 64 I don’t have time for another 20 yrs of therapy. I stay on top of all new stuff as it happens these days, so those dreams were concerning me.

Also I’m wondering If I’m giving my self permission to feel my feelings-anger ect. Does Tapping when I’m angry block those feelings-I know that say I have an argument with a loved one and then go and tap over it, that feeling usually subsides. Isn’t this blocking the feeling? It definetly prevents food cravings.

    • Melinda Jacobs says:

Hello Ginger – great question about tapping. I do not believe that tapping blocks the emotions – it is a clearing tool that is designed to help the body process the feelings. Sounds like you are doing well at managing your feelings in the heat of the moment! Please let me know if you have any other questions!
