Coach Brian shows you a great new Tabata training workout using weights to pump up the intensity! Equipment:1 kg weights or water bottles Tabata Movements:
  1. Double punch– punch and extend arms up and out
  2. Running Punch– punch weights out in front in front of you, run in place
  3. Throw– elbows pointing towards the sky, throw motion
  4. Running High Punch– lift knees, punch towards the sky, run in place

    Brian, thank-you for taking the time to help me… is there any other way to be able to do these exercises? I had my right knee replaced in July this year, I have been told that I’m not allowed to do any rebound exercises on my new knee. Eg. Running, Jumping etc… I can only do stretches etc! Can you help me please. Looking forward to your reply? Carol Ford…

    Coach Brian, these Tabata workouts are Fabulous!! I would never have thought that I could get so much out of 4 little min. !! It’s pure Brilliance! Thank you So Much! You are wonderfully encouraging and Real in the videos and that makes them even more Enjoyable and Doable. I truly trust and I am visualizing that your full length workout video with your stretching segments and multiple work out sessions, and the visualizations and talks about the Tiger and why I should give my body a rest tomorrow and much more, is coming soon and I then I can pop it into my DVD player!!

    Its working now, just did it and still trying to catch my breath 🙂 what a good way to take it a little further!
    I have begun a yoga practice (astanga- like) at home as well, on the days of my tabata, so i am getting on with it. That is thanks to the 4 min., that seemed just manageable at the beginning!! Thanks Brian

    Hi Brian, wonder why i cannot see the new tabata training…it says that this video is not allowed to be played in embedded players.
    I do the “old”one every other day, its great 🙂
