Those look amazing! My husband was a butcher for 7 years and he used to tell me stories of people coming in requesting bone dust. I thought it was so odd but I guess it’s really beneficial! I think I’ll put him on a mission to talk to the local meat markets to source a quality product like you found. Could be a fun way to get him involved! He likes that I’m happier since quitting the whole dieting paradigm, but he thinks the meditation is mumbo jumbo… lead by example right?
Hi Emily,
The best part of all this is that food can become a source of enjoyment again – and if your husband sees this he might become a little bit more interested in the whole holistic approach to living… as you say… lead by example! 😉

Thanks Jon. I like your cooking method but all of yours are western food so that nowadays my shopping is difficult to find some that you mentioned. I think its very hard for you, please find out some dishes for Asians.
Hi Heungsook,
So sorry about that.. however, perhaps approach this a different way – try to modify recipes or take ideas from Jon’s suggestions and apply them to your own preferences.. and we would love to hear what you come up with too!!
Den 🙂
Thank you – excellent info. There is SO much to learn and your guidance is invaluable.
What are your thoughts on Salami? This is a fermented meat, correct? Would thin slices of this type of meat be ok for a snack? Also, do you know of any commercial brands that are available for purchase here in the US in regards to sausages/hot dogs? i’ve heard that in Europe, a slice of meat and cheese (protein) is a common breakfast?? Convenience meats are quite handy if you lack time…or desire to cook..So, I’ve bought “Adele’s” brand before they are suppose to be all natural with no added hormones or nitrates?? They are quite spendy though, I think I’ll ask the meat guy we have at our local farmers market. He sells locally raised/grass fed Lamb. Maybe he makes sausages? I live in the beautiful Northwest Pacific Ocean on one of the San Juan Islands. Just recently we passed a non-GMO bill to help preserve our farmlands….I consider myself fortunate that I live here. I’m slowly converting to as much organic food as I can possibly afford. Food is major expensive here, so any tips would be most appreciated….Thanks so much!! I’m way excited about joining your group, finally. I also just started attending a once a week group held at our local library with Shelly VanSkyhawk who is coaching myself and numerous other women here on the Island. Thank you for all your hard work on getting this information out there…I sort of feel like I’ve had my “Ahaa” moment…This mind/body approach makes total sense…Blessings to you and your team!! Sincerely, Eileen Gale
Hi Eileen,
There are several problems with processed meats – firstly they are processed – which is something that we try to avoid – as the more processed a food is – the harder it is for our body to recognise it as a food and digest it accordingly. The additives are definitely something to avoid. The best suggestion would be a product that has no added preservatives, colours and flavours. If this is something you love – by all means continue to have it – but perhaps limit the amount you have and try to have the best quality possible. This way the expense won’t be such an issue – as you are having less anyway. I hope this helps.
