Pecan Apple Crisp

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Place apples and lemon juice in an 7 x 11 inch baking dish; set aside
  2. In a food processor, combine almond flour, coconut sugar, and salt
  3. Pulse in shortening
  4. Very briefly pulse in pecans
  5. Sprinkle topping over apples
  6. Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 40-50 minutes, or until juices are bubbling
  7. Increase heat to 400° and bake 8-15 minutes, watching closely, to brown top of crisp
  8. Serve
