    Hi Jon,

I’m new to the Gabriel Method, but I’ve adopted your approach wholeheartedly. Unlike most of the other methods out there the Gabriel Method is grounded in science, and that it what I love. As a university biochemistry student I appreciate the information you provide. I very much enjoyed hearing about that mice twin study and would love to read more about it. Do you know where I could access the article?

    Thanks

    Stephanie

Just joined today, am feeling very optimistic about being as healthy as I can possibly be! Can you please elaborate on what you mean by ‘fermented foods?’

    • Hi Terilee,

Fermentation is a way of preserving foods using friendly bacteria. These bacteria are very beneficial to digestion. Examples of fermented foods include, yoghurt, kefir, tempeh, sauerkraut, kimchi, miso, tamari, pickles and sprouted foods. Check out this site for more culturedfoodlife.com

    Hello Jon.

Brand new to the 21 meditation and the support group. While reading about tin fish, what are your thoughts about tin sardines in tomato sauce; I can’t get to fresh fish so easily.

I will also download audio material for long car journeys! Thank you.

    Appreciate your comments.

    Maria

    • Hi Maria,

It’s a reasonable alternative to fresh fish, if you can’t get fresh. Please read the ingredients though and make sure there’s not any sugar, artificial colours of flavorings and it’s not i vegetable oil.

Again, I’m new to this but what I really appreciate is, after a life time of dieting, a place were health eating and being able to know that through visualizing and whatever is occurring during that process, I can also loss wt. I seemed to always have to sacrifice one for the other. Eat health. for me leans toward vegetarian or diet never both. I haven’t been in a health food store for years and this week stopped 2x. I do have a question. I know not to listen to visualizations while driving however, is the Gabriel Method on audio? I have a 30min. drive to and from work and often listen to books. It would be great.

    • Jon Gabriel says:

The Gabriel Method is on Audio. I think you can get it at Beyond Words Publishing. But you can also download all the previous ask jon sessions and the gm shows and listen to them too. A lot of people listen to them while driving.

Question for Jon – I’m new to JGM but getting a lot out of it. I signed up to the 21 day meditation/visualisations as a starter and the free 30 day membership of the Support Program. Finding both activities very beneficial and already feel that I’m shedding weight. A quick question about tinned fish – I assume not as beneficial as fresh fish but how does it stack up as a source of Omega 3’s if you can’t get fresh fish. I often add a small tin of tuna to a salad. Would appreciate your thoughts. Regards Richard

    • Jon Gabriel says:

      Hi Richard,

Welcome to the support group. Yea that’s fine to have tinned Tuna. Obviously it’s not as good as fresh and there may be an issue of leaching toxins into the fish from the can, but we live in an imperfect world and we have to do the best we can. It’s best if the tuna is in spring water, not oil, as the oil is a very low grade inflammatory oil.

A danish health guy made a test on mackerel in tomato sauce in a tin and a fresh mackerel trying to find out which one had the most omega3 content – and guess what – the one in the tin can had! The answer to that was that it most likely was caught in the season where omega3 is at its highest….. and yes there are other maybe not so good “stuff” in the tomato sauce etc…… just thought it was interesting 🙂

Great information Jon. This confirms the need for live, fresh, organic, veggies and fruit, along with fermented foods.

    Thank you.
