I have just started incorporating fermented foods into my diet. I have bought some fermented sauerkraut, carrots (with ginger), and beets. I find the taste very strong and can really only eat a couple table spoons to 1/4 cup of it at the very most. Is this enough of these products to reap the benefits?

would eating fermented veggies with every meal be considered part of the live food component of the meal? Could it be considered adequate live food amount if that is the only live food you have with a meal?

Good News that was news to me. I knew they were good for digestion and longevity but toxin removal – wonderful!!! Sometimes it seems so frustrating to know we live in a toxic environment and think we can’t do anything to reverse it. I hope we will learn how to easily and affordably acquire more of these cultured foods.

Hi – You recommend taking probiotic every morning on empty stomach … that’s the time when i take my thyroid medicine .. so it is safe to take both together ? or will taking both together interfere with the absorption of either or both ? .. Thanks.

Chlorine in our water supplies is there for what reason? To kill bacteria. So when taking a probiotic, do NOT take it with chlorinated water. In fact, if at all possible, don’t drink water with chlorine or fluoride in it.

I’ve been taking Jarrow’s Priobiotics are similar to what you sell? I find that they constipate me. Anyone have any similar response to the pills?

    • gabrielmethod says:

      Hi Jo-Lynne,

Some people experience side side effects from Probiotics including constipation. Drinking lots of water and making sure to get plenty of fiber can usually help with this.

I have a question about eating fresh fruits…..So far I cannot find any mention of this? I tend to eat a lot of fruit as I am celiac and also dairy intolerant. I do not drink soft drinks, or use artificial sweeteners and never have……..I look foreward to your response.

How much of these foods should we be taking ona daily basis? I have been eating really healthy foods for about 4months but after a recent blood test it seems as if my body is still not able to assimilate the nutrients from these foods. I should probably add that I have been dieting for about 35 years on and off with extreme fluctuations last year. I am doing the nightly visualisations and on most mornings the morning one.

      Hi Linda,
Jon recommends incorporating the Big 3s in your diet: Protein, Omega-3, and Live Food (fresh fruits and vegetables). Since this is not a diet there is no restriction, however Jon says to try to not pass a meal without adding these 3 things to each meal.
