Avocado Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:
- 1 avocado, halved, pitted, and peeled
- Β½ cup coconut water
- 2 Tbsp chia seeds
- 2 bananas
- ΒΌ cup plain coconut yoghurt
- Β½ frozen mango or 1 cup frozen berries
- 1 Tbsp freshly grated ginger
- Juice of 1 lime
- Β½ Tsp healthy salt
Directions:
Combine the avocado, coconut water, bananas, yogurt and mango or berries in a blender and puree until smooth. Add the ginger and blend until well combined, then mix in the lime juice and salt. Divide the puree among four glasses, sprinkle with chia seeds and serve immediately.
Are the chia seeds unsoaked? Is this ok? Will they absorb liquid inside me? Forgive me if this is a silly question!
Yes they’ll absorb the liquid. Good question BTW π

Hi there where on earth do you find coconut yoghurt, Ive never heard of it before? π

Some Grocers / Fruit and Vegetable stores will sell it. Any good health food store will definitely carry Coconut yoghurt. In fact you may even find it in supermarkets in the usual Yoghurt section, however just check the ingredients of the supermarket brands if you see any – there may be a lot of added sugar and flavour.
