    you can also make a really good fruit ice cream using frozen fruit & your food processor. Put the frozen fruit into the processor, sweeten if you want but I don’t, pulse until well chopped, then with the motor running pour in single cream, coconut milk, yoghurt or any other “creamy” liquid that you like . Process until smooth. Quantities are about 3 cups (750ml) fruit to 100-150ml cream. If you freeze it it goes quite hard but nothing a few seconds in the microwave doesn’t fix. My favourite is mixed berry. You can add LSA, nuts, coconut & other flavourings (natural of course!)

    so am a little confused here. to make this you would need;
    *frozen fruit
    *frozen coconut
    *and ice
    is that it?
    And you just put it through the normal juicer and it comes out like icecream??
    or do you need some special juicer?
    Thanks in advance

    I AM KIND OF THINKING THAT RAW FOODS ARE THE WAY TO GO, IS THAT WHAT YOU DO JON? YES, THE JUICER ICE CREAM IS DELICIOUS. HOW DO I DEAL WITH MY CONSTANT HUNGER? I STARTED MY PROGRAM YESTERDAY AND UNFORTUNATELY I HAD A DEVISTATING PHONE CALL THAT A GOOD FRIEND HAD ENDED HER LIFE. I DON’T WANT TO TURN ON THOSE FAT SWITCHES.

    I’ve just bought a juicer and I am going to try it – I will use coconut from my coconut plam but if I didn’ t have the coconut fresh I would add a little coconut mild and see how it came out – the fruit and coconut juice have to be frozen otherwise it will be sloppy. You could try it in a blender – but it would not be as good.

    Cheers

    Anne

    Do you have to have a juicer to make this?

    How about the amounts of each used? Fresh raw coconut?
