Mark Sisson

Mark Sisson is an American fitness author and blogger who lives in Malibu, California. He is a former distance runner, triathlete and Ironman competitor. He finished 4th in the February 1982 Ironman World Championship. He has written several books, including The Primal Blueprint, which is a #1 best-selling health book in Amazon.com as well as The Primal Blueprint Cookbook. He is also the founder of Primal Nutrition, Inc., a company devoted to health education and designing state of the art supplements that address the challenges of living in the modern world.

Mark started his blog, Mark’s Daily Apple: Primal Living in the Modern World, in 2006 with a mission “to empower people to take full responsibility for their own health and enjoyment of life by investigating, discussing, and critically rethinking everything we’ve assumed to be true about health and wellness.” The blog includes a forum, fitness articles, recipes, and an official Primal Blueprint store that includes The Primal Blueprint collection, Primal Blueprint Supplements, and Primal Blueprint Merchandise.
