I didn’t know that anything which is somewhat toxic to the system can be addictive. I accidentally had stopped drinking my daily green tea latte which I would absolutely crave and noticed I don’t miss it now, having realized that I had actually become addicted to my one cup a day. Now I will enjoy a cup now and then. I’m glad I saw this video. Thank you! 😀

I have another interesting point I want to share: I have been suffering from migraines for many years. At one point I even got 2-3 days of migraine where I just needed to go to the doctor who gave me a morphine injection as none of the typical drugs would have any effect anymore.
So I tried several paths like: going on a special diet with drinking lots of water, using alternative medicine, homeopathy etc… in the end nothing really worked well and I couldn’t find the actual triggers of the migraine so I kept ending up taking the prescribed drugs to get through the day.

Some months ago however I decided to go cold turkey on coffee. I know I was addicted to coffee. I was drinking up to 7-8 large mugs a day and on top of that 5-10 smaller espresso’s as well. I was well past the point where I felt any of the uplift caffeine is supposed to have, even worse: when I didn’t have my coffee quickly enough in the morning I started to get headaches simply from that!

After about 2 weeks without any coffee I noticed already a huge difference in my migraine pattern. It was almost gone. I decided to wait more because I wanted to be very certain and sure enough, I’m now at 4 months and I don’t have migraines anymore! None of the foods or drinks like alcoholic beverages that I once thought were triggers simply do nothing anymore! I’m again like a normal person without migraine and this after more than 15 years of suffering and looking for clues!! No doctor, no medicine, no cure so far has helped but simply eliminating that 1 component from my diet as good as cured me! It has also freed me from needing these migraine drugs that are so bad for the liver & kidneys in the long run.

This alone for me is an absolute proof that what we put in our bodies has profound effects on our health.

Today I can still drink an occasional espresso and I absolutely enjoy it and savor the taste even more than I used to. But I don’t overdo it and drink it only 1-2 a week.

This was really good information to have.
I have cut down on caffeine hugely over the past 3 years.
    Thank You.

  5. I have a client at the moment who I’m coaching, Ginni in NZ, who has
kicked the coffee habit recently and has never felt better. She says she’s calmer, more in control and feels ‘powerful’ for being able to rid herself of an addiction. We used Dandelion tea as her alternative. Dandelion has been shown to beneficial for liver health, and a healthy liver will benefit you in many ways.
