I usually take nuts or nut products on the plane with me. I also look for salads. How long did it take you to find all those good foods? So many of the food courts are distances from the planes loading areas. Congratulations, you did a good job of finding healthy foods! Patricia

I travel a lot and I’m always looking for good tips-Thanks Jon I can’t wait to try the Chia Pods. Here are some things I do when traveling:
    1. Always book a hotel with at least a refrigerator (and hopefully a full kitchenette) and a gym
    2. Google the area where I’m staying for the healthier markets
    3. I always pack a small lunch bag, Tupperware and cheap utensils so I can avoid eating out for every meal
    4. If have to eat out, I look up the menu so I can figure out what the best option is before I get there.
5.For snacking on the plane I buy individually wrapped almond snack packs. I figure they are better than the honey roasted peanuts they serve on the plan.

I usually head for sushi if I’m in a food court; I go for salmon sushi. If I can get sushi with brown or black rice I will. Two sushi rolls will fill me up for hours. And I just drink water. I haven’t seen Chia Pods before so I will look out for those. Thanks Jon – good tips here!
