Thank you for this talk. Very helpful. I’m feeling confusion though in how to proceed. Great experience in Nov detox and the week after. Now my body feels complete with detox and having sluggish bowel movements, scattered hyper energy- too supercharged and ungrounded. Like a Vata imbalance. Thoughts?
I also though feel better in me but have tremendous anxiety about being beautiful to others. Working on that separately, but maybe need to stay away from certain visualizations that later feel scary?

    • Heather Fleming says:

      Hi Bridget,
Yes, time to experiment with how to ground your nervous system and body better. Ask your body if it needs hot or cold and sweet or savory food prior to every meal. This will help you connect. Place your hand on your heart to ease the fear. Remember this is a practice not a perfection plan:)
      Love,
      Heather

I have been eating pure foods for years, never junk food. I loved this presentation. What about digestion problems, as far as I know I don’t have any (although I’m 70lbs overweight). I do organic yogurt, will start raw dairy soon, never really feel bloated or have bowel trouble. I’ll start fermented veggies too. But do you recommend the probiotics to everyone just in case?

    • Heather Fleming says:

Hi Karoline, It is great to rotate foods and variety. Eating the same thing may be more of the issue than the specific food itself. Try rotating between fermented veggies, no dairy, dairy and keep the probiotics in the rotation for support.

Too much emphasis on animal protein. What about non- animal protein apart from pea and hemp protein? Love the philosophy but I need more animal-free meals.

    • Heather Flemming says:

Yes, Mary remember your body always knows best. Experiment by adding in sprouts for added protein along with sea vegetables, chia seeds, artichokes, spinach and pumpkin seeds. If your body does well on beans and lentils, try soaking them and add them in also. Experimenting and observing your body is the best program:)

    • Margaret says:

yes me too I’m low intervention vegan

Just superb! Thank you Heather. So much ‘gold’ in your presentation. Loved your warmth & humaness approach – ‘experiment’ Fabulous! Love your cravings philosophy – never heard that before – what a great reframe. No more judgement of my cravings, just love & curiosity about what my body needs!
Love the clarity on what our bodies need: Oxygen, hydration, Nutrition. Loved your invitation to be in the present moment – ‘what do I need in the present moment?’ Really wonderful to hear this with regards to food.
And best of all: ‘Knowledge is great, but turn it into INNER WISDOM. Thank you Heather – love your humour and enthusiasm. Would be really helpful to be able to see the slides as you talk as there was so much information to take in. Happy New Year x

    • Heather Flemming says:

      Hi Pixie!
Thank you for listening to the presentation. So happy you liked it. I love how you used reframing. Will add that in to the next one:)
      Happy New Year

  7. Rachel Craddock says:

    Hi!
You mentioned having a list of our go to foods. Can you give me a few examples so I have an idea of where to start? Thanks!!

    • Heather Flemming says:

      Hello Rachel,
Yes, your favorite breakfasts items that you know your body feels great with. So, when you are at the store, you can do a quick inventory to get the necessary ingredients.
As for snacks, experiment with a few options that help you feel safe & supported.
      Veggies and guacamole
      Raw almonds
      Chia seed pudding
      Apple & almond butter
      to name a few.
