Thank you for this conversation – I was tested with hypothyroid four years ago and on synthroid -since February of this year and eliminating goitrogenic foods I am feeling somewhat better but I have been unable to budge my weight which is what brought me here. I have eliminated gluten although not religiously and experience a lot of pain in my body / joints – I have begun meditation practices but feel like my tissue is unable to release inflammation – any suggestions? I do not know how adrenal fatigue is difference from hypothyroid

      Hi Sherry,

Inflammatory foods are key to helping reduce chronic inflammation. Meditation can also help but a combination is what can aid your progress. Wheat is an inflammatory food so it is good to keep an eye on how it effects you.

Was wondering if whole food brewers yeast is a good food to add? Thanks! Judy.

    • Janine -Gabriel Method Team says:

      Hi Judy,

We recommend Nutritional Yeast over Brewers Yeast as Nutritional Yeast contains vitamin B-12 in it.

At work last week, a visiting coworker was complaining about her Thyroid issues and I told her about Magdalena’s website. My coworker contacted me this morning to thank me for the reference. She ordered Magdalena’s starter kit, and she said everything Magdalena described is what she is currently trying to heal from.

    Thank you Jon and Magadelena.

I’m with Cynthia in HOPING for a better outcome . . . without going into as much detail (for lack of time, and wanting feedback on a particular aspect) I wonder what you can say about Wilson’s Temperature Syndrome as regards thyroid function? in a nutshell, from my perspective? it’s about those of us who have a consistently lower than normal “normal” temperature ~ NOT 98.6F but rather, say, 96.9

Thank you both for sharing this information! My thyroid has been tested in the past and always I get an inconclusive answer back from the drs. I do have fibromyalgia. Also I’ve had duodenal cancer where they had to remove part of my pancreas, stomach and part of my intestine. My duodenum and gallbladder, appendix are completely gone. I have acid reflux, Barrett’s esophagus. I have chronic pancreatitis which I’ve been told will eventually leave me on a feeding tube at home and end in death! My life expectancy with the 18 hour Whipple Surgery I had was very dire. Not very many people lived very long in 1996 from this surgery and cancer. I am now 58 and now weigh 300 lbs. I believe my not going to the regular checkups on my cancer saved my life. I was an alcoholic with 18+ years sobriety so far. I have so many emotional traumas and stressors in my life that I work on and have been working on since I was in high school. I am a survivor and I’d like to think for a great reason. I have much to give to this world but not sure where to begin. I am hearing your messages Jon and Magdelina loud and clear and it resonates with me down in my very soul. I have fought for my life many times and I must say that I’m tired. I am not giving up! I have an obese 23 year old daughter with bipolar disease and panic attacks with severe depression just like me. I am and will continue to try and be a role model for her as long as I have breath in my body. I am really hopeful that I can get healthy and off of government assistance and disability and my 11+ medications I am on. I start my life over everyday. Sometimes many times a day. I just need help! This is the first program that addresses all of my issues with solutions. The medical profession is not getting me well. They work to make my life barely bearable. I want a quantum leap out of this position that I have gotten myself into. I hope, hope, hope!!!

    Hi Jon,
I do have a questions regarding people who have gout. Would you still recommend a high protein intake?
    What else would you recommend?
    Thank you!
