A Mentor Session runs for 60 minutes.
The client is aware of this and is expecting this length of time spent.
Keep to the below structure for a Mentor Session to ensure time is spent to review, answer questions, find solutions and teach new content within the 60 minutes.
Session 1 will follow a slightly different structure than Session 2 - 6.

- Teach new month’s Topic and Action Steps
- Session End
Time Session 1: 20 minutes
Time Session 2 - 6: 5 minutes
Spend a short period of time in light and personal conversation with client.
Focus of this period is the client not you, however an introduction of who you are and experience, etc is valuable for the client to know.
Make notes of personal detail they offer about themselves (work, family, friends, hobbies, etc). Other details on client can be gathered from their Application Form (birth date, where they live, etc)
Using these details in conversation will strengthen coach/client relationship, build trust and provide a better coaching experience for the client as they feel connected and listened to.
After Greeting use this time to explain the structure and set client expectation of the UCE Program.
Example: The UCE is not a ‘lose all your weight in 6 months’ program. It is an educational program, where the client is a student of The Gabriel Method and, our team of Coaches are here to support and teach you the actions required to turn off your FAT Program, not just for 6 months but the rest of your life.
Ensure the client understands
- what they are to receive
- format of a session (‘each month we have a specific topic I will teach you and a set of Action Steps to make it easy for you to incorporate into your life. All of the Action Steps are designed to affect your FAT Program in a positive way’)
- how sessions are booked and communicated.
The UCE program structure is:
1 x Mentor Session per month
1 x Specialist Session per month (Nutrition, Fitness, Emotional Release and Tapping) with
Ensure client is able to locate and gain access to programs, in particular UCE program. Some clients are not computer literate and may struggle to navigate the programs available to them. Solution is to ask them to ‘share their screen’ on skype. This a valuable tool for teaching them location of resources spoken about above.
Review of Specialist Session
Time 10 minutes
Gather feedback and review the client’s satisfaction of their Specialist Session.
Ask what they learned, the effectiveness of the session, and as Mentor Coach interpret this detail to their own FAT Program triggers.
Example: “I’m so pleased you enjoyed your Tapping session. Now you have learned a valuable tool you can use to reduce stress, which as you know, is a key trigger for the FAT Program”.
Based on the client’s need (from your observation) and want (from their expectation) it is in this period you can schedule and/or confirm the upcoming Specialist Session(s). The UCE is a personalised coaching experience and the Specialist Session(s) should be best used to accommodate the client’s need.
UCE admin will check follow-up email generated from Month 1 session only. For any changes in Specialist Session(s) please contact email@example.com directly to ensure that the sessions are booked and the client will be sent availability.
Review of previous month(s) Action Steps
Time 15 minutes
With the Action Steps of the previous month(s) available, individually review each one with the client. This period provides the client valuable feedback on their progress and the opportunity to enhance their learning of The Gabriel Method and the Action Steps of the UCE.
Provide solutions to the clients obstacles predominantly using the resources available with The Gabriel Method, praise and encourage when any progress has been made and continue to connect the Action Steps to their positive effect on the triggers of the FAT Program.

Teach new month’s Topic and Action Steps
Time 20 minutes
One of the fundamental principles behind The Gabriel Method is to ‘add’. When presenting a new Topic and the Action Steps associated, be true to this principle and ensure the client does too. Be aware of a client feeling overwhelmed and lift any pressure by creating solutions to adding the Action Steps which suit their lifestyle, personality and experience.
The objective here is to teach and present the topic for the upcoming month of the UCE. Place importance on connecting this month’s topic to its influence on the client’s FAT Program and that of its influence on the client’s own circumstances. Make it personal.
Example: “The focus for this month of your UCE is : Beat Stress and Burn Fat. We know elevated levels of the stress hormone cortisol, is a trigger for the FAT Program. As you’ve said your job places considerable stress on you and I’m excited to show you easy ways to reduce that this month.’
Present Action Steps
With you and the client having the month’s Action Steps open, individually present each one and work with the client, to best add them into their life. Ensure they understand why and how to successfully add each one.
Use resources available within The Gabriel Method to further educate and implement these Action Steps.
Time Session 1: 20 minutes
Time Session 2-6: 5 minutes
In this time schedule both upcoming Mentor Session(s) and the Specialist Session pathway for the client.
Mentor Sessions are 1 per month. Work with client to schedule up to and including Month 4 Mentor Session as a minimum.
Block out this time in your Google Calendar (using full name of client) and advise GM Admin of dates/times in Booking Notes of Follow Up email 1.
Example: M2 1/2/15 9am Adelaide time (provide time zone)
M3 1/3/15 10am Adelaide time, etc
Specialist Session are 1 per month. Based on the client’s need (from your observation) and want (from their expectation) schedule the upcoming Specialist Session(s). The UCE is a personalised coaching experience and the Specialist Session(s) can be best used to accommodate the client’s need. Work with client to schedule up to and including Month 4 Specialist Session.
Advise GM Admin in Booking Notes of Follow Up email 1 of pathway.
SP 1 Tapping
SP 2 Nutrition
SP 3 Cellular Release
Always thank the client for their time and their participation in the session.
To ensure they understand what their UCE looks like for the next month ask questions similar to:
‘are you satisfied with the session today?’
‘is there anything you’d like me to clarify or missed you’d like answered?’
‘are you clear with what to add this month?’
Conclude the Mentor Session with confirming the date/time of their next Mentor Session and confirmation of whom their next Specialist Session is with.
